StockPilot · Last updated July 8, 2026
StockPilot (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is an inventory and purchase-order tool for Shopify stores. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored and deleted.
Information we access
When a merchant installs StockPilot, the App accesses:
- The store’s myshopify.com domain and the access token needed to call the Shopify Admin API on the merchant’s behalf.
- Product, product variant, inventory level, and location data, in order to display stock, create purchase orders, and update inventory quantities.
- Purchase-order and supplier information that the merchant enters directly into the App.
StockPilot does not access, request, or store any customer personal information (names, emails, addresses, or order history).
How we use it
Data is used solely to provide the App’s features: showing low-stock items, creating and managing purchase orders, printing barcode labels, importing catalog data, and syncing received quantities back to Shopify inventory. We do not sell data or share it with third parties for advertising.
Where it is stored
App data is stored in a hosted PostgreSQL database and served from cloud infrastructure. All communication with Shopify and with your browser is encrypted over HTTPS.
Data retention and deletion
When you uninstall StockPilot, your session and access token are deleted immediately. In line with Shopify’s requirements, all remaining store data (purchase orders, suppliers, and settings) is erased within 48 hours of uninstall. You may also request deletion at any time by emailing us.
